  • Senior All-India level office-bearers also addressed various programs

Raipur: Strengthening mutual dialogue to organize society is our duty. In the past, lack of dialogue within the Hindu society allowed invaders to rule for 1,200 years. Now, in its centenary year, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is working towards social convergence. These were the words of Dr. Purnendu Saxena, Sanghchalak of the Madhya Kshetra, while addressing the Vijayadashami program held at Durga Garden, Sector-2, DD Nagar, Deendayal Nagar.

Speaking about the Sangh’s 100-year-long journey of struggle and growth, he emphasized that through initiatives like mass home-contact campaigns, social harmony meetings, youth programs, and intellectual gatherings, the Sangh will continue its mission of uniting the entire Hindu society.

Highlighting the vision of Pancha Parivartan (Five Transformations), he urged that in the post-centenary years, with the support of eminent citizens, society should adopt — social harmony, family awakening, environmental protection, swadeshi lifestyle, and responsible citizenship — as guiding principles in daily life. Chief Guest and renowned Chhattisgarhi film director Satish Jain described this as the Sangh’s platinum year and praised its popularity in society. Prant Sanghchalak Dr. Toplal Verma was also present.

At Kabir Nagar in Veer Savarkar Nagar, the program’s chief speaker, All-India Joint Head of Publicity Sunil Kulkarni, said that completing 100 years of Sangh work was not an easy path — it embodies the sacrifice, dedication, and penance of millions of swayamsevaks. He emphasized that Pancha Parivartan would bring about remarkable change in society and that Hindu society must unite for nation-building so that Bharat can progress on the path of becoming a Vishwaguru. Chief Guest at this program was renowned farmer leader Bulaki Verma.

The Vijayadashami celebrations and path sanchalan were held in 21 localities of Raipur Mahanagar. Notable among them were: Mahoba Bazar (chief speaker Vivek Keservani), Mahamai Para (Lavkush Tiwari), Chaubey Colony (Anil Daga), Changorabhata (Akashdeep Gupta), Sundar Nagar (Uday Rawle), Kamal Vihar (H.N. Pandey), Budhapara (Sanjay Dubey), Priyadarshini Nagar (Manoj Kashyap), Rajendra Nagar (Rajeevkant), New Shanti Nagar (Rakesh Jain), Gandhi Chowk Saddu (Tribhuvan Narayan Singh), Devendra Nagar Sector-3 (Jagdish Patel), Ramnagar (Shri Nakul), Danveer Bhamashah Basti (Raman Tandi), Ravabhata (Santosh Singh), Vijaynagar (Manoj), Sarora (Raghav Joshi), Gayatri Nagar Banjari (Rajesh Bhargava), and Ramkund (Manish Kashyap).

Speakers across these programs underlined that the Sangh’s centenary journey has been a milestone in the path of nation and society building. They urged society to commit itself to the Pancha Parivartan. Several speakers described the Sangh’s century-long journey in four phases: the first phase (1925–1948) was of ridicule and neglect; the second (1948–1972) of suppression and hardships; the third (1971–2011) of struggle and movements; and the fourth (2011 onwards) as a phase of victories.

The Vijayadashami programs will continue across different bastis until October 15. Since September 25, path sanchalan has been organized in 131 bastis across 14 nagars of Raipur Mahanagar.

Altogether, 1,529 uniformed swayamsevaks participated across Raipur, joined by 601 distinguished citizens from society, with a large presence of women power at every venue.
