Delhi Tribal Youth Hostel Offers Free UPSC Coaching, Accommodation & Guidance for Selected Students

Raipur, 27 December 2028 |The Rajiv Yuva Utthan Yojana has announced the pre-selection exam for students aspiring to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination in New Delhi. The exam will be held on 28 December for entry into the prestigious Delhi Tribal Youth Hostel, where selected candidates receive free UPSC preparation facilities, including coaching, accommodation, library, and mentorship.


Delhi-Based UPSC Preparation Opportunity: 1087 Candidates to Compete

According to the Tribal Welfare Department, two examination centres have been allotted in Raipur:

  • Prayas Girls Residential School, Gudhiyari – 386 candidates
  • Prayas Boys Residential School, Saddu – 701 candidates

A total of 1087 candidates will appear for the pre-selection test.
The exam will be conducted from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

200 Seats Now Available for Delhi UPSC Hostel: CM Vishnu Deo Sai Expands Capacity

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has increased the number of seats in the Delhi Tribal Youth Hostel from 50 to 200, giving more youth the chance to access quality UPSC preparation:

  • 100 seats for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students
  • 60 seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) students
  • 40 seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC)

Currently, 165 students are benefiting from the facility.
Since 2013-14, a total of 164 candidates trained under the scheme have successfully secured various government positions.
