Sindoor Path to be Developed in Raipur; CM Vishnu Deo Sai Performs Inauguration and Bhoomipujan

CM announces major gifts for the capital; ₹186.98 crore to be spent on 23 development projects

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated and performed bhoomipujan for 23 development projects worth ₹186 crore 98 lakh during a programme held at Fundhar Sports Ground in Raipur. These include 17 projects for which bhoomipujan was performed (₹185.49 crore) and 6 projects inaugurated (₹1.49 crore).

During the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Sindoor Path at Telibandha Chowk, the Atal Complex built on Atal Expressway, the Vanbhesa area developed near the Court campus, and the Box Cricket Pitch developed under the ISBT–Mowa–Vidhan Sabha bridge.

He also laid the foundation stone for several major urban development works, including Women’s Working Hostels at Pandri Bus Stand and Near Naraiya Talab, the Technical Tower at Telibandha, a 2500 KL water tank at Khamhardih, and the Rising & Distribution Pipeline Project at Labhandi–Fundhar.

Distribution of Benefits

During the programme, Chief Minister Sai distributed building permission letters to beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 and ₹50,000 cheques to beneficiaries of the PM SVANidhi Scheme.

What is “Sindoor Path”?

Sindoor Path is a beautifully designed pedestrian walkway being developed in the Telibandha area under Raipur Municipal Corporation limits.
The aim is to make major public spaces and junctions in Raipur safer, more attractive, and well-organized.

This project is seen as a significant step towards creating clean, vibrant, and socially active public spaces in the city.
