From a Farmer’s Daughter to a Lieutenant

Hailing from a farming family, Supriya is the daughter of Mrs. Santoshi Singh Shrineth and Mr. Vaidehi Sharan Singh, both farmers who ensured she received strong educational and moral foundations. She completed her early education at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, scoring 71% in Class 10 and 58% in Class 12.

She later pursued a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication. During her engineering studies, she joined the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and rose to the rank of Junior Under Officer. Determination, Discipline and Dedication

After completing her engineering degree in 2023, Supriya dedicated herself fully to preparing for the CDS examination. Through rigorous preparation, consistent practice, and strong self-belief, she excelled in the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview under the Short Service Commission and secured the fourth rank nationwide.

Her achievement is not merely a personal milestone but a source of inspiration for young women from rural India, opening new pathways of possibility and ambition.

Apart from academics and military preparation, Supriya has also been active in cultural activities, particularly dance, which she considers a source of energy and confidence.
