Grand Hindu Conference Begins with Cultural Performances and Cow Worship
Raipur: Emphasizing that social harmony can only be achieved through individual conduct, RSS Sah-Sarkaryawah Atul Limaye addressed a massive gathering at the Grand Hindu Conference organized by the Hindu Jagran Samiti, Ramsagar Para, at Bhaisanthan Ground near Agrasen Chowk. He stated that eliminating discrimination through direct personal behavior is essential for building a cohesive society.

Limaye said that India stands today at the doorstep of becoming a developed nation, and such conferences symbolize a pledge towards transformative awakening. He noted that historical invasions disrupted India’s once-glorious social fabric, but great figures like Guru Gobind Singh and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj revived the spirit of Hindu society. Similar resurgence, he added, is visible today, with 90 temples restored in Kashmir and Indian Yoga traditions spreading to 171 countries.
Highlighting India’s recent scientific strides, he said the reach of missions like Chandrayaan has strengthened the nation’s aspirational journey. However, he stressed that global achievements are possible only by enhancing collective capability.
Limaye called for the removal of caste discrimination and outdated social practices, asserting that societal prosperity is uncertain without social equality. He also flagged radicalization and religious conversions as major challenges, attributing them to weakening cultural roots. Describing leftist ideology as a core issue in Chhattisgarh, he said Hindutva’s value-based philosophy promotes balanced and harmonious conduct.
The event began with cultural programs, followed by Gau Pujan performed by invited guests. Thousands attended the conference, with women participating in large numbers. The program concluded with a Bharat Mata Aarti.
