Raipur: Vaibhavi Agarwal, who secured the 35th rank in the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination, was felicitated by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Avdhesh Kumar Trivedi during a courtesy meeting at the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office in Raipur on Thursday.
Trivedi congratulated Agarwal and her family for the remarkable achievement and described her success as a matter of pride for Chhattisgarh and an inspiration for young aspirants preparing for competitive examinations. As a mark of appreciation, Agarwal was presented with a shawl, coconut and a memento.
During the interaction, Agarwal shared insights into her academic journey and preparation strategy. She completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya and later pursued B.Tech and M.Tech in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. After sustained preparation and perseverance, she secured the 35th rank in her third attempt at the UPSC examination.
Praising her dedication and determination, Trivedi said such achievements are the result of discipline, hard work and clarity of purpose. He encouraged Agarwal to serve the nation with commitment and uphold the values of humility, public service and effective coordination with administrative institutions.
Expressing gratitude for the recognition, Agarwal said young people should remain focused on their goals and continue working with discipline and perseverance to achieve success.
