Raipur: At the Panchjanya Conclave – Danteshwari Dialogue held at Mayfair Lake Resort, Nava Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai shared insights on the state government’s two years in office. He spoke on a wide range of subjects including development in Bastar and Surguja, Naxal eradication, industrial investment, women empowerment, and technology-driven development models. During the program, he answered various questions with clarity, explaining government schemes and the roadmap ahead.
Women Empowerment: The Biggest Achievement
The Chief Minister said that over the past two years, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana has emerged as the strongest tool for women’s empowerment. Under this initiative, 70 lakh women receive ₹1,000 per month as a respect allowance, which has brought positive changes in nutrition, children’s education, and household needs.
Tech-Driven Chhattisgarh – Special Provisions in the New Industrial Policy
He stated that the new industrial policy in Chhattisgarh places special emphasis on employment. The policy includes attractive incentives for investment, a single-window system, and over 250 Ease of Doing Business reforms. As a result, the state has received investment proposals worth ₹8 lakh crore so far.
The new policy encourages next-generation industries such as IT, AI, green technologies, and semiconductors. Nava Raipur is being developed as an IT hub, semiconductor plant location, and AI data center park.
Development of Bastar – A Balanced Model of Local Identity and Modern Opportunities
The Chief Minister said that Bastar’s development will be based on a balance between preserving local culture and providing modern facilities. Special focus is being given to agriculture, irrigation, organic farming, forest-produce processing, tourism, and local employment.
Improved Facilities for Forest Produce Collectors
The expansion of the Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana and forest-produce processing has significantly increased the income of collectors.
Anti-Naxal Efforts: A ‘Socio-Psychological Shift’
He described the act of Naxal-affected citizens presenting their concerns in Delhi as a historic step. It has boosted confidence among the people of Bastar and revealed the true face of Maoist violence before the nation.
Strict Action Against Forced Conversions and Emphasis on Cultural Security
He said that strict action is being taken against conversions carried out through coercion or inducement. A bill is also being prepared to be introduced in the Assembly in this regard.
Rapid Improvements in Education, Health, and Digital Connectivity in Tribal Areas
The Chief Minister said that installing mobile towers, reopening and rationalizing schools in Bastar and Surguja has resulted in a sharp improvement in education quality.
Rehabilitation and Expansion of Facilities in Naxal-Affected Areas
Under the Niyad Nella Naar Yojana, facilities such as Aadhaar cards, Ayushman cards, KCC cards, electricity, drinking water, roads, and other essential services are being rapidly provided in Naxal-affected regions.
Successful Implementation of Promises in Two Years
The Chief Minister said that most guarantees announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been fulfilled. These include approval of 18 lakh houses, better MSP for farmers, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, increased remuneration for tendu leaf collectors, transparency in recruitment exams, and decisive action against Maoism.
