Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to Release 24th Installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana from Narayanpur today

68.47 lakh women to receive direct benefit of ₹641 crore

Raipur/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will release the 24th installment of the state’s flagship Mahtari Vandan Yojana during a program in Narayanpur district today. On this occasion, an amount of ₹641.34 crore will be transferred directly into the bank accounts of 68,47,355 women beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Launched to promote women’s empowerment and economic security, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana has successfully completed two years and has emerged as a strong pillar of financial support for women across the state. The scheme was implemented on March 1, 2024, and the first installment was released on March 10, 2024.

So far, more than ₹15,595 crore has been disbursed under the scheme. In the 24th installment, eligible women who have completed e-KYC will receive benefits. Additionally, 7,763 new beneficiaries from Naxal-affected districts have been included under the Niyad Nella Nar scheme, ensuring that welfare initiatives now reach even remote and sensitive areas of Chhattisgarh.
