Raipur Resonates with ‘Vande Mataram’ during Centenary Year Shatakant Singing Programme

Raipur | On the occasion of the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Shatakant (100-voice) group singing programme was organised under Raipur Mahanagar, showcasing a remarkable confluence of patriotism and cultural consciousness. The event was held at Shri Ram Mandir, VIP Road, where 100 of swayamsevaks presented songs collectively, captivating the audience.

During the programme, all 100 svayamsevak rendered five selected songs in perfect synchronisation and rhythm. Notably, the songs were presented in Sanskrit, Hindi, and Chhattisgarhi, reflecting India’s rich cultural diversity and unity. Through these compositions rooted in national thought, strong messages of patriotism, unity, and social harmony were effectively conveyed. Each performance was melodious and engaging, earning heartfelt appreciation from the audience.

The programme concluded with a collective rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’, which filled the entire atmosphere with deep patriotic fervour. The presentation instilled a sense of pride and dedication towards the nation among the swayamsevaks and the gathered dignitaries.

On this occasion, Narayan Namdev, Sah Prant Pracharak of RSS, Chhattisgarh, addressed the gathering and said that such cultural programmes play a vital role in strengthening national unity, patriotic spirit, and positive social energy. He highlighted that over the past 100 years, the Sangh has consistently worked towards nation-building and character development through such songs in its daily shakha activities. He urged swayamsevaks to imbibe the spirit of “Nation First” in their lives.

A large number of RSS functionaries, swayamsevaks, women and intellectuals were present during the programme. The event was seen as an important cultural milestone in the centenary celebrations of the RSS.
