New Delhi | In a major crackdown, police in the central area of the national capital Delhi have busted a large-scale sex racket, creating a stir in the city. During a raid at a house located on S.N. Marg, Ajmeri Gate, police detained eight young women and several men in objectionable conditions, including a minor girl reportedly under 17 years of age.
Organised Network Exposed, Multiple Arrests
Police investigations revealed that the illegal operation was being run by Rahul and his wife Kumari. At the scene, authorities arrested manager Gopi Ram Parihar, Loomakant Pandey, and Aaliya Pinky, who were handling the management and operations of the premises.
Incriminating Materials Recovered
A significant quantity of suspicious and objectionable items was recovered during the raid, including:
- Approximately ₹1.97 lakh in cash and foreign currency
- Cannabis and performance-enhancing drugs
- Hundreds of liquor bottles and beer cans
- A large number of condoms
- A knife and transaction records
These recoveries indicate that the operation was part of a well-organised and large-scale illegal network.
Presence of Minor Raises Serious Concerns
The involvement of a minor has made the case more serious. Police have invoked relevant legal provisions and are now expanding the investigation to identify other individuals and links connected to the racket.
