BJP’s Masterstroke: Hindutva Firebrand Leader B.P. Singh Appointed State Spokesperson

Raipur | Keeping in view the emerging political equations in Chhattisgarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken a significant step to strengthen its organisation through the Kisan Morcha. In the newly constituted state executive of the BJP Kisan Morcha, prominent leader from the Masturi region, B.P. Singh, has been appointed as the State Spokesperson.

The party’s decision is being seen as part of an aggressive strategy on both the farmers’ front and the Hindutva plank.

Reward for Organisational Commitment and Struggle

B.P. Singh has been associated with the Kisan Morcha for a long time and has earlier proven his organisational capabilities while serving as the State Co-Treasurer. As the Convenor of the Masturi Assembly constituency, his grassroots-level activism and strong local connect have helped strengthen the organisation during several movements and campaigns. Within the party, he is known as a forthright and battle-hardened leader.

A Vocal Advocate of Farmers’ Issues

B.P. Singh has consistently raised his voice on key farmers’ issues such as paddy procurement, minimum support price (MSP), shortage of fertilisers and seeds, and other agrarian concerns. Political analysts believe this sustained advocacy is the primary reason behind his elevation to the crucial post of State Spokesperson. In his new role, he is expected to effectively articulate the party’s policies while delivering sharp rebuttals to opposition allegations.

Glimpse of an Aggressive Strategy

According to BJP sources, the appointment is part of a broader strategy to promote leaders who enjoy influence among the rural and farming communities and can strongly present the party’s position on media platforms and public forums. In the coming days, the Kisan Morcha is expected to intensify its outreach in rural areas, taking government schemes to the grassroots and countering the opposition’s political narrative more forcefully.
