Major Success for Security Forces: 12 Maoists Neutralized in Anti-Naxal Action

Security forces have achieved a major success in the ongoing anti-Naxal operation in the district. During a joint search and combing operation, the forces neutralized 12 Maoists. Search operations are still continuing in the area.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid tribute to Monu Wadde, Constable Dukaru Gonde, and Constable Ramesh Sodi of DRG Bijapur, who attained martyrdom during the operation. He prayed to God to give strength to the bereaved families to bear this unbearable loss and to grant peace to the departed souls.
The Chief Minister said that two other jawans injured in the encounter are out of danger, and complete arrangements have been made for their proper treatment. He wished them a speedy and full recovery.
Chief Minister Sai said that the sacrifice of our brave soldiers will not go in vain. This decisive success against Naxalism is a clear indication that the end of red terror is now very near. He reiterated that the State Government and the security forces remain firmly committed to the resolve of “complete eradication of Maoism”.
He added that the operation will continue with full determination until peace, security, and the light of development reach even the last village of Bastar.
The Chief Minister lauded the courage, dedication, and sense of duty of all the security personnel involved in this successful action and assured them that the government stands with them at every step.
