Transformative initiatives in health, education, and community development showcased
Raipur / Under the joint aegis of the Alliance for Behaviour Change Chhattisgarh and Sarvhitam, and co-hosted by NIT Raipur, the state’s first CSR Excellence Awards – Think-S Impact Award 2025 was organized at New Circuit House, Raipur. The event aimed to recognize and encourage CSR initiatives driving social change across the state.Chief Guest, CSIDC Chairman Rajiv Agrawal, said that the true meaning of CSR is “giving back to society what we take from it.” He emphasized strengthening education, sports, and healthcare services.Abhishek Singh from UNICEF noted that sensitive CSR not only addresses social challenges but also enhances companies’ productivity and market value. Dr. Vernika Sharma, Chairperson of the Chhattisgarh Child Protection Commission, stressed the need for eliminating child labor and building “youth and maternal skills” to secure communities’ future.The program was also addressed by Ashwin Garg, President of Urla Industrial Association, Surendra Lanjewar, CSR Head of Sharda Energy, and Hemesh Dewangan, General Manager, District Trade and Industry Center.Awards in corporate and NGO/individual categories recognized outstanding contributions in education, health, rural development, environmental conservation, and women’s empowerment.On this occasion, the Think-So CSR quarterly magazine were also released.This platform will continue to publicly honor organizations in the state making remarkable contributions to social transformation and sustainable development.
